IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is yet another installment in the acclaimed IL-2 Sturmovik series. The game takes place in 1940 during the pivotal aerial battle for the skies over Britain between the British, the German and the Italian air forces. The campaign thrusts you into the middle of the battle.
The cabinet contained four 8-ohm speakers instead of the original four 16-ohm speakers. The speakers used were very late 1970s or early 1980s G1280 80-watt speakers, which are similar to modern-day 'Lead 80' speakers. But for now, all but the most patient simmers should leave this damaged aircraft in the hangar for further maintenance. That something is wrong with Cliffs of Dover is clear from the moment you boot it up and the grating, synthesized fanfare struggles to play, sometimes going silent, other times starting only when you click on various menu options.
Oh that’s a great idea! So you mean that the audio is not uniquely from the video performance, but you selected the best bits from 2 audio tracks and mixed them into a single video? Or is the video a totally different performance from the 2 audio tracks? (sorry I am being a bit thick, just wanted to make sure I understood properly). This is very interesting to me as I often have the (probably unrealistic?) goal of getting everything perfect within a single take, which makes the recording process very frustrating at times!
So many times I recorded good takes where some tiny bits went wrong - I guess I could have just recorded new audio over these bits If the motions/ timing of the video are compatible with the sound, I guess the result would be good. I wonder if many pro youtubers use this technique? Peter_C: I have stage and studio experience but i’m by default very shy and perfectionist so it tends to drag on for a bit. I don’t like looking back at older videos and as of today I can’t watch this video because it’s unbearable to hear only the mistakes; it’s a curse that I can’t get over.

As for making a note sing- that's a lifetime I'm afraid. Above speed, I like to see fluency in note inflection/bend/vibrato/slurs/pitch/tempo. I find most seasoned players have that in spades, regardless of how quickly they pick. • • • • • • •.
